Private Sunset Suites in Plaka, Milos - 6-room boutique with Cycladic views
Sunset Suites & Views
Each suite at Odyssey Rock Milos Sunset Suites has a private terrace or balcony that faces the western horizon. The sunset from these terraces is the same view that draws crowds to the nearby castle and bars - guests watch it from their own outdoor space. A complimentary bottle of wine and Aperol Spritz are left in the fridge upon arrival, meant to be enjoyed during the sunset.
Accommodations
The six suites include the Maisonette, Deluxe Suite with Sea View, and Executive Suite, each with high ceilings and separate living areas. Bathrooms are stocked with full-size Molton Brown toiletries, and the kitchenettes have a Nespresso coffee machine. Beach towels are replaced daily, and the air conditioning is strong enough to keep even the upper-level bedrooms cool.
Concierge & Services
Host Eleni meets guests at the taxi stop on arrival and helps carry luggage down the pedestrian-only lane to the suites. She arranges airport transfers from Milos Island National Airport (9 km away) and can book dinner reservations or boat trips. A parking lot is a 6-minute walk from the property, and Eleni or another staff member will drive the rental car down for guests when needed.
Location
The suites sit on a quiet lane in Plaka, the capital village of Milos, less than a 1-minute walk from the main square and its tavernas. The Catacombs of Milos are 1.9 km away, and Klima Beach is an 18-minute walk downhill. The castle of Plaka, with its famous sunset viewpoint, is a 10-minute walk through the winding streets.
Family-Friendly Accommodations
The property offers designated family rooms, such as the Antigoni Villa, which has two separate bedrooms. Fresh fruits were provided for a toddler during a past stay, and the kitchenettes allow families to prepare simple meals. The quiet lane means children can wander safely, and the host can suggest child-friendly beaches and activities.
